We recently enjoyed a family vacation at the Red Lion Hotel in Clovelly, and it was a memorable stay for all of us. Waking up to the sounds of the ancient fishing harbour was enchanting. The proximity to the water is perfect for families, with opportunities for kayaking and swimming right outside the door. Every morning brought a different breakfast option, which kept our kids excited. One evening, we shared a lovely dinner at the restaurant, indulging in the freshly caught Clovelly Lobster, a real treat! For our family hikes, the cobbled paths offered a challenge, but the adorable village atmosphere made up for it. Be aware that it might not be suitable for those needing easy accessibility; baby slings were a handy solution for moving around. We left with full hearts and a desire to return.
